I love the idea that when the society finally collapse we won't have to do without the delicious smokey flavor of bacon.

I'm glad they didn't have this when I was a kid -- those post-apocalyptic episodes (or was it just one?) of The Twilight Zone wouldn't have been so scary if there'd been bacon.
