Where the Points Are Double, But So Is the Danger

My all time favorite show from MTV.  Admittedly, that’s not a very big list.  In fact, there may be only one item on the list and this is it.

The Making of the Wallagio 2.0: Day 10

Concrete was put down in the garage to fill in where the jackhammering took place and to make it level with the rest of the house.

The Making of The Wallagio 2.0: Day 7

Not a whole lot happening at the Wallagio the past few days.  But that all changed today.

The opening to the bathroom/closets from my bedroom has been closed.  Also, a window area has been sectioned out.

More drywall removed.

A trench was dug in my garage looking for the sewer line.

More jackhammering.

There’s now a doorway from the kitchen into the master bathroom.

The closed passageway from the master bathroom into the old master bedroom.

Copa Oro 2013 Semifinals

  • Who knew that I would end up attending the last event at Cowboys Stadium.
  • Oh, by the way, Jerry or CONCAF or whoever is responsible for this, but FUCK YOU!!!  What’s the big deal about bringing in a 70-200mm lens??  And for fucksake, at least have it on the ticket that its banned.  Do you not know how important an extra 95mm are??
  • And another thing.  You’re going to have 90,000 people there for 3-4 hours and you fucking run out of food???  And really  $5 for a water??  Was it filtered through the placenta of the new royal baby?
  • Other than that, a great time was had.  Go USA!!

The Making of The Wallagio 2.0: Day 3

When you have walls that need to be torn down, what better time can there be than getting your friends drunk, handing them a bat and telling them to go to town?

The Making of The Wallagio 2.0: Day 1

Whelp.  It seems that I didn’t spend nearly enough money in Europe and have found myself with way too much dough in my checking account.  Not wanting to start a cocaine habit, I’ve decided to do the next most foolish thing and remodel my house.

I’ve been without central air since the summer of 2009.  So the first step is to upgrade the air conditioning.  Gone is the attic fan that hasn’t worked since 2010 and in its place a bigger intake vent.

A before picture for future reference.

The kitchen/dining room will be my future master bedroom.

Who thinks I need a bigger kitchen?

So long to the window unit and the dog-hair accumulating extension cord needed because the circuit near the ac is the same as the TV and they both can’t be on.  And also, goodbye to this opening.  This will be closed to expand the spare bedroom.

My future kitchen.

Future home of the bar overlooking the new second living area.

This opening is also being closed up.

Up close look at the new intake.

That wall is about to go away for a larger room that, no doubt will result in even a larger mess.
