1000

Well, here it is.  My 1000th post.

I have to admit that I’ve slowed down on posting recently because I was intimidated by getting to this post.  This one is an important one.  So I better not fuck it up.

Unfortunately, it appears that I really haven’t given this post much thought.
So let me thank my very few readers.

JT and Kateri for their sometimes overly insistent encouragement.

The Jester for well I don’t know.  Hopefully I can think of something.

Magpie for her frequent blog comments on my blog and not on Facebook.

Vanessa for all our travels on her company’s dime.

I would also like to thank the late, great Nortel for laying me off and getting this blog started.  Without their paying me not to work for six months, none of this would have been possible.

I would like to thank the Pacific Northwest for being awesome.

I would like to thank the Sierra Nevada, Dogfish Head, Lagunitas and Stone breweries for not only providing blog material but some of my best blogging has been done while consuming your fine products.

If you feel like you should have been thanked, well maybe you should have commented more ON MY BLOG, not just Facebook.

I can't believe I've been doing this over a year longer, yet I'm almost 200 posts behind. Ugh. I am lazy.

Nice work! I hope I don't have to keep cracking the blog whip!

Thank you. To be fair, your blog and the summer of George were the inspirations for this blog.

I should be nothing but inspiration, aspiration and perspiration when it comes to your blog.

I have no idea what that last sentence means.

no shout-out and still no Fat Head write up... It's been fun, but why should I keep reading?!? How can I tell how many comments I've made?

Damn. Somebody was cranky last night... might have been me. I will still keep reading. You're all setup in my RSS reader and everything.
