Not a whole lot of visual changes the past few days, so I’ve skipped some updates.  But things are finally starting to look like the end product.

The old windows are gone in the kitchen.

New plumbing and electrical has been covered in drywall.

The bar is looking like a bar.

Mud put on living room drywall.

Holes in the kitchen wall dry walled and mudded.

Plumbing and electrical work in the kitchen.

The bar is starting to form.

The living room closet is finally gone and dry walling completed.  So now there’s an extra 20-25 sqft in the old living room.

More light switches being raised.  I’m gonna miss that wallpaper.

I haven’t done a whole lot of dusting in the last 20 days.

Not much progress in the garage.

Old windows boarded up and a new window is made.

The plumbing has mostly been moved.  The “island” can finally be built.

The storage room in the back of the garage for lawn equipment and whatnot.

Drywalling almost finished in garage.

Utility room drywalled.

Powderoom drywalled.

Whoa!  Light switches at normal height!

Only half of the hardwood going on the floors.

Lots of progress today.

Openings into the garage and kitchen were created.

Bedroom framing completed.

Painting of the front of the house is complete.

Up close look at the two colors.  Not to worry.  That door is going away too.

French doors added to the garage.

Cementing of the former water heater closet.

Lots of trash hauled off.

Even more trash got hauled off.

First round of outside paint.  This time just the wood and trim.

Things are moving fast now.

Living room/dining room closet drywall now completely removed.

Door from garage to backyard closed up.

Framing done in garage creating a powder room (right), utility room (middle) and storage room (left).

Demo of wall between kitchen and garage started.
